I didn't really need the car charger component, but I'll use it if I ever need it I suppose. I bought this as a replacement for my original charger with the first Sprint Katana, and it charges fine. (The charger that came with the phone broke so that I had to have a rubber band holding it together at all times). Good buy for a good price. The only downside is the length of the cord is about 2 inches shorter than the one that came with my phone.
I was really amazed at the price on these chargers and they work great. I'm very happy with this purchase
It works fine out of the box. You know the adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." It didn't apply here, at least not for me. The equipment seems similar in quality to that which originally came with the phone. The cost was something ridiculously low, like a penny plus shipping. (Really, it was too small an amount to remember exactly what it was).
The chargers appear exactly as the originals and work exceedingly well. For the price of $.01 plus $2.98 shipping, it has to be one of the best deals on Amazon. Thank you, Accessory One.Lynn
The only way I could get mine to connect, and presumably to charge, was to plug it in upside down and literally hold it in place. I really wanted this to work. Well, that gets old real fast, and is not an option. I wanted to be able to be smug about spending under $5 and not getting ripped off by Verizon at 6 times the cost. Unfortunately, this is so cheaply made that I guess it's a crapshoot whether it will actually work or not. Since the whole cost of this thing was the shipping, it's not worth sending back. Oh well, live and learn.
